Computed tomography is indicated in any of the following criteria
| presence of significant head injury |
| presence of focal neurological deficit(s) |
| presence of pelvic or multiple extremity fractures |
| combined impact of accident >50 km/h |
| death at the scene of motor vehicle accident |
| accident involved fall from a height of 3 meter or more |
