- Type II: transverse fracture, extends to axillary border of scapula, inferior fragment displaced with humeral head
- Type III: oblique fracture, exits at superior border of scapula. Association acromioclavicular dislocation or fracture
- Type IV: transverse fracture crossing scapula from glenoid, exits medial border of scapular body
- Type V: type IV and second fracture separating inferior glenoid fragment
- Type VI: severe comminuted fracture
