Fragmentation stagesubchondral fracture, inhomogeneous dense epiphysis which is porous, metaphyseal cysts
Reparative stagenormal bone in areas of resorption, removal of sclerotic bone. epiphysis is more homogeneous
Growth stagere-ossification. normal femoral shape is approached
Definitive stagefinal shape determined with joint congruency or incongruency
